Refunds

You have 14 days from the day you receive your parcel to tell us you'd like to return an item. Once you've told us, you have a further 14 days to get it back to us.

To start a return, email inquiries@karmavintage.studio with your order number and the item you'd like to send back. We'll reply with the return address and a returns note to include in the parcel.

• Items must be unworn, unwashed and in the condition you received them, with any tags still attached.
• Until your return reaches us, the item and its condition are your responsibility — please get proof of postage.
• We may refuse a refund, or refund partially, if an item comes back damaged, altered, washed or smelling of smoke or perfume.

• By post — the cost of return postage (UK and international) is the customer's responsibility. Use a tracked service; we can't refund parcels that don't arrive.
• In person, free — bring your item and order confirmation to our Burgate or Brick Lane boutique and the team will process it at the till.
• International returns — mark the customs declaration clearly as "returned goods" so the parcel isn't held or charged.

We aim to process returns within 14 working days of them arriving back at the studio, though this can take a little longer during sale and live-drop weeks. You'll get an email as soon as your refund is issued.

Refunds go back to your original payment method. Please allow up to 28 days for the money to appear on your statement. Original shipping costs are refunded only where the whole order is returned within the statutory cancellation period, or where the item was faulty.

Almost everything we sell exists only once, so we can't offer exchanges — there's no second one in another size. If your piece doesn't fit, return it for a refund and order the one you want.

Custom embroidery jackets, cushions and framed wall pieces are made specifically for you, so under UK consumer law they're exempt from change-of-mind returns once production has started.

• You can cancel or change a custom order free of charge within 24 hours of placing it, before we cut into the denim.
• Faulty, damaged or misdescribed custom pieces are always covered — we'll repair, remake or refund.
• We'll always confirm your size, artwork and options by email before production begins.

Our garments have had a previous life. Light fading, softened denim, small repairs and honest wear are part of what makes them vintage and are not considered faults. Anything beyond normal age-related wear is photographed and described in the product listing.

Email inquiries@karmavintage.studio with your order number, the date of purchase and a couple of photos of the issue. We'll sort it quickly — repair, replace where possible, or refund in full including postage.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights, including your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
