Karma Vintage Studio ("Karma Studio", "we", "us") is a vintage and upcycled clothing studio trading online and from our Burgate and Brick Lane stores in London. You can reach us at inquiries@karmavintage.studio.

• Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm dispatch (or, for made-to-order work, when we confirm your design).
• We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a piece has already sold in store, if we can't verify payment, or if a listing carried an obvious error.
• If we cancel, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method.

Almost everything we sell exists in a quantity of one. Because we sell across the website, live sales and two physical stores, a piece can occasionally sell elsewhere in the minutes before your order lands. If that happens we'll contact you immediately and refund you in full — we can't substitute another garment, because there isn't one.

• Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout.
• Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• International orders may attract duties or import taxes on arrival — these are your responsibility.
• If a price is listed in error we'll contact you before dispatch and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel.

• Custom pieces are made specifically for you from the base, artwork, placement and thread choices you select.
• We confirm the design with you before stitching begins. Once you approve it, the piece goes into production.
• Production takes 2–4 weeks before dispatch. We'll tell you if a piece is running longer.
• Because each custom piece is made to your specification, it is exempt from change-of-mind cancellation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Faulty or misdescribed work is always covered.
• Hand embroidery varies slightly from the on-screen preview — small differences in stitch, placement and thread tone are part of the craft, not a defect.

Our vintage garments have been worn before. Fading, repairs, patina, minor marks and honest wear consistent with age are expected and are part of the character of the piece. We photograph and describe any notable flaws on the product page. Wear we have described is not a fault.

Delivery timescales and costs are set out on our shipping page. Timescales are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us, or on collection from one of our stores.

Your statutory right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery, together with how we handle returns, refunds and faulty items, is set out in full on our returns & exchanges page, which forms part of these terms. Made-to-order custom work is excluded from change-of-mind cancellation as described above.

The artwork designs, photography, written content and branding on this site belong to Karma Vintage Studio. Buying an embroidered piece gives you the piece, not the right to reproduce the design commercially. If you supply us artwork for a custom order, you confirm you have the right to use it and you allow us to stitch it and to photograph the finished piece for our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.

We don't limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time you ordered. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Follow the care guidance supplied with your piece. Embroidered items should be washed cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle and dried flat. Damage caused by machine washing hot, tumble drying or dry cleaning embroidered or reworked garments isn't covered as a fault.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
